Server

rhnyin, Nov 16, 11 9:45 PM.

As some of you may now know, I'm looking at a transfer to another server. I've grown tired of having a 'good' fight once a week at best. The lack of action in the moors has made my time, and I'm sure I am not the only one, less enjoyable then what it could be. I attribute the decline of our servers PVP to a few things;

1. Lack of freeps
2. The need for a good freep leader to come out and challenge us and other freeps on the server. Ooafah and Grima got lots of grief but they sure brought out numbers
3. The opinion of some that its 'their' moors and its 'WIN' at all costs.....which has essentially cost us our PVP. Sitting in a location with superior numbers to wait for the others side to play on 'their' terms has produced lazy and unintelligent players and led to the slow death of PVP
4. No understanding of a 'give' and 'take' PVP. It we wipe them in a good fight, we owe them the courtesy of continuous pushing until we ourselves take it on the chin or it becomes obvious that they need all the NPC help they can get. This leads me to.....
5. EZ moders who flip sides to be on the 'Winning' team.  Our server population is too small for this kind of thought and when this happens the balance of the game becomes extremely skewed in one sides favour. Heaven forbid somebody flips sides to counter the numbers unbalance
6. A lack of imagination and tactics.
7.Location, location, location. Used to be you could find a fight, or organize one, that I know location issues happens on many servers but a smaller population only magnifies the problem. Remember when the freeps held TA? Best fighting IMO but that doesnt happen anymore.
8. Star Huggers who would rather destroy PVP then let the 'other side' have the satisfaction of getting a KB. Again, I know the happens on all the servers but its become the culture of an overwhelming majority on our server.

Take a look at the comparison between our server and Riddermark. I believe the numbers speak for themselves. Sift through it and draw your on conclusions. Ive been playing on their server for 4 nights and the action was really great. Lots of players on both sides with plenty of solo players to go along with the smaller groups.  Riddermark has seen a substantial increase in the number of PVP players in the last 2 weeks so previous experiences/opinions may be changed. I also feel that if we transferred, one toon each, we could make a impact if we were so inclined. Check out the data and please post some comments. Check out some servers on your own and post a comparison here. I would really like to have some positive discourse on the subject. I'm open to any suggestions and REALLY WANT some feedback.

Shhh, be vawy, vawy, quite. It's bewg hunting sweason. Let me know what you guys think about having a night where we hunt burgs or make burgs our primary target of the night? Maybe we could let them know freep side what we have planned? Respond here or put it in the shout box.

Raid Nights

rhnyin, Jun 5, 11 1:20 AM.
I would really like to set up a night a week where we can have a good group of spit come out. I know people are busy and understand if they cant make it because of RL. The showings have been pretty low of late and freep numbers have been growing. I'd like people to suggest a night where they likely would be able to come out and group up. Even if its for an hour or 2 it would still be fun to have a group that people can join in for some laughs, ass kicking, and getting ass kicked. A revolving door group is a fun group to be part of imo.  Would be really cool to get something going like the blue/green machine again.

Anyways, please suggest some times and nights that would work best for you. Reply here or on the msg board....yes, you too Bush.

Thanks,

Rhn
